Peleguer
The typography Peleguer is the reinterpretation of the characters Peleguer goldsmiths Manuel Valencia, father and son, opened and merged between 1779 and 1783 on behalf of the “Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Land of Valencia”, with a view to creating a factory letters. ¶ During that time, reached 6 degrees open letters (Entredeux, reading girl, fat reading, text, parallels and missal). ¶ factory seems the letter never came to work, and who were themselves Peleguer who retained the punches and dies, getting to create a foundry-printing which only came out 5 or 6 books or documents during the single year of 1784 . ¶ In one of those books the “Praise in the solemn funeral funeral …” composed with the degree of “fat reading” samples were taken for subsequent digitization based on the following parameters to give unity and a contemporary look to the source. ¶ – Keep the proportions of the original source (but unifying the shapes of the serifs, as these were different according repose at baseline or in the downlink). ¶ – match the counters equalize internal and irregular fallen italics. ¶ in short, “catch” the formal essence of the source, and “put up” following the current criteria for typographic design a font with good readability and subtle personality traits that contribute.
